The Olesa de Montserrat City Council has announced informative sessions to guide the migrant population through the extraordinary regularization process planned by the Spanish Government for 2026.

This local initiative aims to clarify the requirements of a measure that could benefit thousands of residents currently in an irregular administrative situation. Applications are expected to open in April and run until June 30, 2026.

"Many residents cannot work due to their irregular status despite the lack of labor in the market."
