The Government delegate in Barcelona, Pilar Díaz, held an institutional meeting at Corbera de Llobregat Town Hall on February 27 to address local infrastructure needs and strategic initiatives.

Accompanied by Mayor Rosa Boladeras, the delegate reviewed the status of several residential areas with pending construction works. The discussion focused on finding regulatory frameworks to complete these essential infrastructures and improve local living standards.
A key topic was the management of municipal staff. The authorities explored the possibility of centralizing recruitment processes for smaller municipalities, a move designed to simplify administrative procedures and ensure efficient public service delivery.
The session concluded with a review of social housing projects and available grants from the Single Program for Works and Services (PUOSC). This visit reinforces the cooperation between the Generalitat and Corbera de Llobregat to tackle future urban challenges.
