Mayor Roser Brosed represented Sant Esteve Sesrovires in Gavà this Saturday, March 14th, to collect the Biosphere award, recognizing the town's dedication to high-quality sustainable tourism.

The Sant Esteve Council has successfully renewed its Biosphere certification, a global standard for environmental and social responsibility. Local entities such as the Golf Club and the Tinta i Vi art studio also maintained their status, highlighting the community's collective effort towards green tourism.
In addition to the sustainability seal, the municipality continues to strengthen its visitor services. The council, along with Marta Arañó's studio and the Hotel Dolce Barcelona Resort, remain official Tourist Information Points (PIT), providing direct assistance to travelers exploring the region.
Organized by the Baix Llobregat Tourism Consortium, the ceremony celebrated a total of 116 distinguished companies in the area. This network promotes responsible management practices, ensuring that the local tourism industry remains competitive and environmentally conscious.
