The Sant Esteve Sesrovires local government and Fundació Salas have unveiled a major residential project at the historic Can Chups site, featuring both private and social housing units.

The first stage of the development at the former Chupa Chups factory includes 54 private apartments across four floors. Construction is expected to begin before summer 2026, including underground parking and a ground-floor commercial area. The total private development will eventually reach 119 homes.
In addition to the private market, Fundació Salas will manage 21 social housing units (HPO) for sale. Meanwhile, the Town Hall is finalizing an agreement to build an additional 40 social housing apartments specifically for affordable rent, aiming to meet local demand.
Prospective buyers can already register for information through the developer's website. The City Council has also provided temporary municipal spaces to assist residents with inquiries until a dedicated information point is established at the construction site.
