Starting Friday, February 27, 2026, the Nitbus N12 service will extend its route to better connect the Mas Lluí district with the city center and Barcelona. This extension will maintain current schedules and frequencies, although the route may face temporary diversions due to construction on Marquès de Monistrol street.

Additionally, the SF3 urban bus, which operates on weekends and holidays, will offer continuous service throughout the day starting Saturday, February 28. This measure eliminates the midday break and will result in an annual increase of over 4,600 kilometers in municipal service.

A key update is the implementation of on-demand stops on the final stretch of the N12. This system will allow women and minors to request to get off at points closer to their destination to enhance safety in areas such as Rambla Marquesa de Castellbell.
