Storm Nils battered the Baix Llobregat region this February, leaving four people injured in Sant Boi and causing thousands of incidents due to hurricane-force winds.

The severe weather caused devastation in Sant Boi, where wind speeds reached 100 km/h. Two Civil Protection volunteers are currently hospitalized at Bellvitge Hospital, one in critical condition after being struck by a falling tree.
Emergency services received over 5,800 calls, with the Baix Llobregat area being one of the hardest hit. In Viladecans alone, more than 140 trees were uprooted, and street lighting was severely damaged during the peak of the storm on Thursday.
Cleanup efforts are underway this Friday as authorities assess the structural damage to industrial buildings and public spaces across the metropolitan area.
