The facility organized a celebration that included guided tours of the premises, workshops and dynamic activities, a popular snack, and musical performances. The event allowed families and children to explore the center's different spaces.
During the institutional speeches, the nursery school's director, Mónica Hermida, expressed gratitude for families' trust and highlighted the work of the educational team and professionals who have been part of the center. The Councilor for Education and Childhood, Anna Valero, emphasized the team's efforts to make the facility a welcoming environment for children and thanked the public for their trust in the municipal education network.
The mayor, Marc Serradó, concluded the event by underscoring the evolution and qualitative leap of the service in recent years, praising the quality of the facilities and the educational project developed by Suara Cooperativa. Serradó stressed the importance of ensuring universal access to the 0-3 years educational stage.
The management of the municipal nursery school Taitom is currently handled by Suara Cooperativa, a non-profit third-sector entity with over thirty-five years of experience. The nursery school was inaugurated on September 9, 2006.
