The Viladecans City Council will reactivate traffic limitations within the Low Emission Zone (ZBE) next Monday, March 16, aiming to reduce pollution and improve air quality.

The regulation, which was temporarily suspended to facilitate mobility during Cercanías train service disruptions, will be back in effect across the city's urban area. Industrial estates in Viladecans remain exempt from these restrictions.
Access control applies from Monday to Friday, between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM. During these hours, only vehicles with 0, Eco, B, or C environmental labels from the DGT are permitted to circulate. Drivers without a label may access the zone at night, on weekends, and during public holidays.
To ensure compliance, the municipality has installed license plate recognition cameras at all ZBE entry points. Despite general restrictions, special permits are available for specific groups, such as people with reduced mobility or vulnerable families.
