Head coach Xavi Pascual, originally from Gavà, leads Barça into the Roig Arena in Valencia this February, aiming to end a three-year trophy drought for the basketball section.

The Catalan side has not won a major title since the ACB League in 2023. Their last Copa del Rey success came in the 2021-2022 season under Sarunas Jasikevicius. Today, Nico Laprovittola stands as the sole survivor from that winning squad still playing for the club.
While Willy Hernangómez also has a cup title to his name, he achieved it with Real Madrid back in 2016. The current roster faces the challenge of overcoming last year's disappointment, when they were knocked out in the quarterfinals by La Laguna Tenerife.

"They will arrive very close to the limit, and no decision will be made until the last moment."

Injuries to stars like Kevin Punter, Tomas Satoransky, and Jan Vesely remain a major concern for Pascual, who will wait until the final hours before the tournament starts to confirm his lineup.
