The Rodalies R4 line fully recovered service this Saturday, February 7, between Martorell and L'Hospitalet following a landslide at the Sant Feliu de Llobregat undergrounding works.

The recovery of the service, which had been cut since Thursday, was confirmed by the Minister of Territory, Sílvia Paneque, via the X network. This normalization comes after the Generalitat decided not to set further dates for the total recovery of the railway network, although Renfe has assured that general normalization will arrive in April.

"The R4 service is recovered in the Sant Feliu section. We continue to advance in the stabilization of the system."

In parallel, the 400 Adif technicians inspecting the network in Catalonia have so far detected 648 critical points. These points include trenches, slopes, tunnels, and bridges, especially on lines closer to the coast. The technicians have completed over 500 on-site inspections, with 60% already documented in technical reports.
This service recovery coincides with a day of mobilizations in Barcelona. The Assemblea Nacional Catalana (ANC) has called a demonstration at 12:00 hours at the Monument a Rafael Casanova, and a second protest, called by some 150 user platforms, will take place at 17:00 hours to demand a dignified railway service.
