The R4 Rodalies line was interrupted this Thursday, February 5, between Martorell and L'Hospitalet de Llobregat following a landslide at the Sant Feliu de Llobregat railway burial works.

The collapse of part of the embankment occurred in the area where the railway burial works are being carried out in Sant Feliu de Llobregat. The falling material affected the platform where the tracks run, although the rails themselves were not damaged.
Adif technicians immediately traveled to the site to assess the damage and begin repair work. For the moment, the railway company has not been able to provide a forecast for when the service, which was completely halted for safety reasons, will resume.

The railway company is managing an alternative road service and directing travelers towards other public transport options.

To minimize disruption to users, Rodalies has established alternative routes. Between Martorell and Cornellà, the use of FGC is recommended; in Sant Feliu de Llobregat, the Tram can be used; and for the journey between Cornellà and L'Hospitalet, the Metro. The rest of the R4 line continues to operate normally.
This incident occurs on the same day, February 5, 2026, that the section between Manresa and Terrassa had been recovered, which now operates with hourly shuttle trains.
