Rodalies de Catalunya restored train circulation on the R4 line between Martorell and L'Hospitalet de Llobregat this Saturday, following a two-day service interruption due to an incident.

The service recovery, confirmed by Rodalies and the Generalitat via posts on X, comes after the R4 section had been out of service since Thursday. During this period, Rodalies did not offer alternative road transport services to affected users.
According to data provided by Rodalies, trains are currently running on this section with a frequency of four trains per hour and direction. Renfe had previously recommended that travelers use alternative transport, such as FGC trains.
Despite the partial reinstatement, anomalies continue in other parts of the line. Between Manresa and Terrassa Estació del Nord, the service is maintained with a shuttle train every hour, supplemented by a complementary bus service.
Furthermore, between Martorell and Sant Sadurní d’Anoia there is an alternative road service every 30 minutes with intermediate stops, and between Sant Sadurní and Sant Vicenç de Calders, a shuttle train operates hourly.
