Starting Thursday, October 15th, the MB3 line in Molins de Rei will incorporate two new microbuses, increasing service capacity by 30%.

The Metropolitan Area of Barcelona (AMB) will renew the vehicles of the MB3 line with two new micro-type buses. Each vehicle has a capacity for 33 passengers (20 seated and 13 standing) and includes a reserved space for people with reduced mobility (PMR).
With the usual service configuration, including the two new buses and a reinforcement vehicle, the combined capacity will increase from the current 73 seats to 95, representing an approximate 30% increase in total capacity.
The route characteristics of the MB3 line, which serves mountain neighborhoods such as Sant Bartomeu de la Quadra, La Rierada, and Vallpineda, with narrow streets and steep slopes, require compact vehicles with high maneuverability. The new microbuses offer the highest capacity within this type.
The MB3 line connects the urban center of Molins de Rei and the Les Guardioles neighborhood with the aforementioned mountain areas, as well as with the FGC station in La Floresta. It also facilitates connection with the Rodalies (commuter rail) service in Molins de Rei.
The service operates daily. Frequency is 30 minutes on weekdays (except August) and 60 minutes on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and weekdays in August.
