The Molló Town Council has completed the paving of 542 meters of the rural Riberal road, improving access to several scattered homes.

The Molló Town Council carried out, during October 2026, the improvement of the access road to several scattered homes in the Riberal de Molló neighborhood. This action has allowed the paving of the section leading to areas such as Ca la Francesa, Can Burgues, El Racó, and Can Borrasser, which until now presented significant deficiencies.
The road, which connects to the C-38, has been paved over a length of 542 meters, passing through the La Ginestera area. Previously, the road suffered from potholes and damage due to rain, high summer vegetation, and difficulties with snow removal in winter.
The project had a total cost of €45,000 (VAT included). Of this amount, €40,000 (approximately 89%) comes from a grant awarded by the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food of the Generalitat de Catalunya. This aid is intended for the improvement of road infrastructure providing access to inhabited rural centers, basic services, and agricultural holdings in mountain regions.
