The city councils of Sant Andreu de la Barca and Castellví de Rosanes have held an institutional meeting to strengthen cooperation in key areas such as interurban transport and the improvement of roads connecting both municipalities, especially in the Can Sunyer area.

The meeting, which took place on March 31 at the Sant Andreu de la Barca town hall, was attended by mayors Marc Giribet, from Sant Andreu de la Barca, and Sergi Busquets, from Castellví de Rosanes. Urban Planning councilors from both localities, Joan Jansana and José Cara, respectively, also participated.
During the gathering, the importance of joint work between neighboring municipalities to effectively address citizens' needs was highlighted. Municipal representatives agreed on the relevance of institutional cooperation to tackle shared challenges.

One of the central discussion points was the improvement of interurban transport linking the two towns. Furthermore, the Sant Andreu de la Barca City Council proposed measures to optimize the roads bordering Castellví, with a particular emphasis on the area near Can Sunyer.
These types of initiatives not only consolidate relations between the two municipalities but also increase their capacity to face common challenges and improve the quality of life of their inhabitants through coordinated actions.
