The El Vendrell City Council is launching the Casal de Conciliació on February 16, a free service aimed at families with Infant and Primary school children to cover non-teaching days.

The new Casal de Conciliació (Conciliation Center), promoted by the El Vendrell City Council, will begin operating on February 16. This initiative is designed to cover the six flexible days included in the School Calendar, offering a free solution for family work-life balance.
The service is exclusively aimed at families with children enrolled in Infant and Primary schools within the municipality. To ensure accessibility for all residents, the center will operate at two key locations: the Marta Mata School and the Green Building of the Coma-ruga School Institute.
The schedules are flexible and adapted to working needs. In Coma-ruga, the hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. In the municipal center, the schedule is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Both centers offer the option of using the midday space, allowing children to bring their packed lunch.
Families interested in using the service must formalize their application between January 26 and February 2. Confirmation of places will be made later, between February 9 and 13. Registration is managed via email at feminismes@elvendrell.net or by calling 977 66 32 89.
