The program will kick off on Saturday, February 21 at the Auditori Pau Casals with La Simfonia dels Herois, a musical and solidarity initiative. This event is led by Dr. Andreu Gabarrós Canals, head of Neurosurgery at the Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge, and features the rock band DORIGEN. The goal is to recognize the efforts of brain tumor patients and raise funds for research.
Theatre plays a significant role, combining humor and reflection. On February 28, Pep Plaza will offer a monologue featuring over 50 characters. Friday, March 6, brings the philosophical comedy Ai, la misèria ens farà feliços (Oh, misery will make us happy), a production by Temporada Alta and Teatre Lliure addressing dehumanization in an AI-dominated world. Later, on March 21, the co-production Tarsius, by Teatre Nacional de Catalunya and Teatres en Xarxa, will tackle adolescent suicide.
Among the major dramas is Els fills (The Children), scheduled for April 12, featuring a stellar cast including Emma Vilarasau, Mercè Arànega, and Jordi Boixaderas, addressing generational debt. Regarding music, on March 14, Lucia Fumero will present her new project Folklore, merging traditional song with jazz. Additionally, the Quartet Gerhard celebrates its 15th anniversary on March 28, and Roger Mas will perform with the Cobla Sant Jordi on April 11.
