The coastal municipalities took the opportunity to showcase their heritage to the world. In El Vendrell, the cyclists' passage coincided with a tribute to Pau Casals, where a cellist performed El Cant dels Ocells next to the monument to the castellers, a work by Josep Cañas.
Meanwhile, Calafell stood out with an aerial view of its Iberian citadel that was broadcast internationally. Throughout the weekend, the town's castle was illuminated in yellow as a symbol of the cycling competition.
The day was marked by a festive atmosphere and support for the athletes. Despite the large crowds, several groups took advantage of the race's passage to express their demands respectfully, without interfering with the event's proceedings.
