The Agrupació Excursionista Talaia is organizing the 67th edition of the Orientation by Description March this Sunday, March 15th, in Calafell, focusing on traditional navigation skills.

This unique event forbids the use of GPS or mobile apps. Instead, teams must follow a detailed written narrative of the route, identifying heritage landmarks and specific vegetation to find their way through the course.
The event also features the 4th Children's and Youth Orientation March. Founded in 1959, this competition is part of the 70th-anniversary celebrations of the AE Talaia club, which has historically organized marches across the Penedès and Tarragonès regions.
Teams of two or three people will start at one-minute intervals. The challenge lies in regularity, as participants must match the official times between checkpoints to avoid penalties.
