On May 20, El Vendrell will host a new edition of the Job Market Place, a recruitment event focused on the tourism, commerce, and services sectors.

The Tabaris building in Coma-ruga will be the venue for this initiative, promoted by the El Vendrell City Council through the Department of Tourism and l'Eina, the Municipal Employment Service. The event will take place on Wednesday, May 20, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
The main objective of the Job Market Place is to facilitate direct contact between local companies and individuals actively seeking employment. This will be achieved through brief job interviews, lasting between 5 and 10 minutes, a dynamic format that streamlines recruitment processes and promotes quick and effective initial interactions.
The event will bring together companies from the tourism, commerce, and services sectors, considered key pillars of the local economy, especially with the arrival of the high season. This action addresses the companies' need to strengthen their teams with qualified personnel to cope with the increased activity during the summer months.
Among the job profiles expected to be covered are cleaning staff, cooks, kitchen assistants, waiters/waitresses, dishwashers, delivery drivers, receptionists with language skills, maintenance staff (gardens and facilities), tourist guides with language skills, and entertainers. Profiles for commerce, such as supermarket cashiers, butchers, greengrocers, sales assistants, or stockers, are also sought, among others.
The El Vendrell City Council emphasizes that, with this initiative, l'Eina reaffirms its commitment to promoting employment in the region, creating meeting spaces between the business community and citizens. The Job Market Place not only generates immediate job placement opportunities but also contributes to improving the employability of participants and boosting the local economy.
Those interested in participating can find more information and register through the l'Eina El Vendrell website.
