Users from the Fundació Santa Teresa in El Vendrell have designed and printed a handkerchief, available in green or blue, featuring the slogan 'Ho tenim tot' (We have it all), this year's motto for the Festa Major. This initiative aims to symbolize inclusion and the idea that the festival belongs to everyone.
The handkerchief is sold for 5 euros, with all proceeds going towards the organization of the festivities. Fundació users get involved weeks before the events to prepare these items that become central during the celebrations.
Residents who purchase the handkerchief will have the opportunity to inscribe their name on a parchment that will accompany the giant Salvador during the official events of the Festa Major.
The Festa Major of El Vendrell, one of the most traditional festivals in Catalunya, will commence on Monday, July 20th, and run until the 25th. It includes events of National Interest such as the Popular Culture parade with centenarian entities, performances with fire beasts and 'Diables' (devils), concerts, and a 'jornada castellera' (human tower day).
