The fire department deployed ten units, three of them aerial, to combat this blaze, which started around half past seven in the evening in an area also close to Castellet i la Gornal.
Civil Protection ordered the confinement of the residential areas La Costa Cunit and Els Jardins de Cunit in Cunit, as well as the Mas Trader urbanization in Cubelles. Confinement was also requested for Trencarroques (Castellet i la Gornal).
Furthermore, residents were advised to close doors and windows, stay indoors, and follow the instructions of the relevant authorities at all times.
