The individual used a stick to break the vehicle windows, without attempting to access the interior or steal anything. According to police sources, he had already caused similar damage on other streets in the town.
Citizen collaboration, with a neighbor's alert to the Local Police, allowed for a search that culminated in the location of the suspect in the Blanquet parking area, where he had also caused damage.
The owners of the vehicles discovered the damage on Thursday morning. One of the affected individuals explained that he had parked his car in the Blanquet on Wednesday night and planned to leave on Thursday, but was unsure if he could due to the condition of the front windshield.
According to reports, the individual slept on a path in the Alorda urbanization and was not a regular resident of the area. Once arrested, he will be brought before the judicial authorities.
