The event brought together several generations of castellers at the same spot where the entity's journey began a century ago. The initiative served to pay tribute to the founders and all the members who have kept the commitment to the group alive over the last hundred years, overcoming both successful moments and difficult periods.

During the day, a symbolic gesture was made with the presence of an old drum that accompanied the first castellers, provided for the occasion by a descendant of those pioneers. This historic piece connected the past with the present, symbolizing the continuity of the tradition.

The history of Nens del Vendrell is marked by notable milestones, such as the first three-of-eight of the 20th century achieved in 1951, or the victory in the 1970 castells competition. More recently, in 2015, the group managed to complete its first nine-level castle, consolidating its recovery after complex years.
