The Mossos d'Esquadra police force has arrested a 37-year-old man in Calafell suspected of committing multiple thefts from vehicles and credit card fraud.

The investigation began last October following a report of a break-in on Prat de la Riba street in Segur de Calafell. The thief stole a credit card and used it four times, defrauding the owner of 73.90 euros.
Further crimes were reported this February. On the 6th, another vehicle was targeted on the same street. Two days later, the suspect entered a communal parking garage on David de Mas street, where security cameras recorded him stealing various personal items.
The breakthrough came when police found a stolen bicycle abandoned on the Sant Joan de Déu promenade. The suspect, who has over twenty prior police records, was arrested last Thursday on Miño street and appeared before the El Vendrell court on Friday.
