The situation of degradation and danger is concentrated on the sidewalk section of General Viver street, where pipe repair or replacement operations began weeks ago. Residents claim that the works have been completely stopped for over a month, with no workers present or indications regarding the resumption of the tasks.
This halt has left the area full of fences, open trenches, and various obstacles that prevent normal pedestrian traffic. This situation is particularly serious for vulnerable groups, such as the elderly, families with strollers, and people with reduced mobility, who are forced to use the road to continue their journey.
The current state of the works poses an evident risk to pedestrian safety and causes serious daily inconvenience for the neighborhood.
Given this problem, the neighborhood of General Viver and Concha Espina demands that the Badalona City Council act immediately. They request that the works be unblocked, the safety of the public space be guaranteed, and a definitive solution be provided to tasks they consider unjustifiably paralyzed for weeks.
