The Passada de Sant Antoni, popularly known as the Feast of the Animals, will hold its 149th edition on Sunday, February 15, filling the streets of Badalona with carriages and participants.

Although the feast day of Sant Antoni Abat is traditionally celebrated in January, the organizers decided several years ago to move the parade to February to facilitate logistics and public participation in Badalona.
This tradition, which boasts nearly a century and a half of history, is one of the oldest and most deeply rooted popular festivals in the city. The central focus of the event is the blessing of the animals.

The organization of the 149th edition falls, as usual, to the Associació Passada de Sant Antoni de Badalona, which is responsible for keeping this emblematic celebration alive.
