The incident occurred around midday, in broad daylight, when an individual approached the family, which included a baby and another minor, as they were loading their luggage into a taxi. The video, recorded by a vehicle waiting behind, shows the assailant attempting to seize one of the victims' belongings.
After a brief struggle, the thief fled without completing the theft. A witness alerted the Mossos d'Esquadra at 1:35 PM about the incident.

Sources from the Mossos d'Esquadra confirmed that a patrol was dispatched to the scene after receiving the alert, but upon arrival, neither the alleged perpetrators nor the affected individuals were still there. Subsequently, officers gained access to the video recorded from the taxi.
The Catalan police consider the incident an attempted robbery, as there is no record of the perpetrator successfully completing the theft. Furthermore, the victims did not file a formal complaint. Currently, the investigation unit of the Mossos is working to identify the suspect based on the available footage.
