The Barcelona City Council will open the doors of its building in Plaça de Sant Jaume on Saturday, February 14, offering a free open house day to celebrate the Santa Eulàlia festivities.

The opening of the council building will take place from 10:00 to 20:00 hours, allowing citizens to tour historic spaces such as the Escala Negra, the Saló de les Cròniques, the Saló de Cent, and the Saló de Plens Carles Pi i Sunyer. The Gothic Gallery and the Honor Staircase are also included.
As a notable feature, visitors will be able to access the Maria Aurèlia Capmany viewpoint, a space usually closed to the public that offers an exceptional 360° panoramic view of the city. Capacity for this point will be limited, and access will be through Plaça de Sant Miquel, maintaining the same schedule from 10:00 to 20:00 hours.
In addition to the self-guided tours, guided visits to the Saló de Cròniques and the Saló de Cent have been scheduled, including sign language interpretation services, available in the morning and afternoon. For children, the carriage courtyard will host the family puppet show En patufet, performed by La Petita Brownie, with sessions at 11:15 and 13:15 hours.
The City Council has planned accessibility measures, facilitating entry through the main door of Plaça de Sant Jaume for people with reduced mobility, who will have support from Red Cross volunteers for the use of elevators and assistance during the tour. It is worth noting that the Sagrada Família is also raffling off about 8,500 free tickets to visit the basilica during the winter festival.
