The Barcelona City Council has opened the call for the B-CREDITS + program, an initiative aimed at facilitating access to financing for small businesses and self-employed workers in the city.

The program's objective is to subsidize a portion of the guarantee cost for credits formalized through the B-CREDITS + line, in order to reduce the financial cost for beneficiary companies. The subsidy covers the opening commission fee for the guarantee (0.6% of the loan) and the CAIR cost (1.5% of the outstanding loan risk).
The amount awarded per subsidy is €1,519.50, resulting from the sum of these two items. Only one subsidy can be requested per individual or legal entity that has previously formalized a credit from this line.
Eligible applicants are small businesses and self-employed individuals with their registered office or fiscal address, or a work center, in the city of Barcelona, who have received and formalized a credit from the B-CREDITS + line.
The application submission period will be open from February 9, 2026, to September 15, 2027, inclusive. Program management will be carried out through a dedicated computer application.
