Ajuntament de Barcelona

The Barcelona City Council has opened the application period for multi-year grants aimed at the planning, management, and monitoring of community development plans and processes (PPDC) in the city, with an execution period between January 2026 and December 2027.

The call, awarded through competitive public bidding, seeks projects that promote social cohesion and inclusion through community actions. These projects should strengthen the social and associative fabric, fostering belonging, cooperation, and networking among residents, as well as the values of associativism and volunteering. Initiatives must align with the community intervention model promoted by the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Barcelona City Council's strategy.
Eligible projects must focus on community empowerment, improving living conditions, and social inclusion. The intervention areas are concentrated in specific neighborhoods such as La Barceloneta, La Sagrada Família, L’Esquerra de l’Eixample, El Poble-sec, La Marina de Port and La Marina del Prat Vermell, La Salut, El Carmel, Verdun, Les Roquetes, Navas, La Verneda i la Pau, El Poblenou, and El Besòs i el Maresme.
The deadline for submitting applications is 15 working days from the day after publication in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona, specifically from January 12 to 30, 2026. Applications must be submitted exclusively through the City Council's electronic headquarters. For more information and to resolve doubts, an information session will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 10 AM, at Espai Transformadors (c/ Ausiàs Marc 60, Barcelona).
