Several emblematic Barcelona spaces, managed by BSM, have been illuminated in pink for International Breast Cancer Awareness Day to show support for those affected and join the commemoration.

On the occasion of International Breast Cancer Awareness Day, landmarks such as Tibidabo (with the Giradabo, Merlí, and Barcelona letters) and the Olympic Ring (with the Palau Sant Jordi dome) have been lit pink. This action aims to raise visibility for breast cancer, a disease that recorded 5,630 new diagnoses in Catalonia last year.
The initiative is part of the ongoing collaboration agreement between BSM and the Catalan Association Against Cancer in Barcelona. The objective is to promote awareness about cancer, encourage healthy lifestyle habits, and strengthen support for those affected by the disease and their families, thereby contributing to a more cohesive city committed to citizen well-being.
