The proposal, approved by the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB), establishes that the flag drop will increase from 2.75 to 2.80 euros for both Tariff 1 (daytime working days) and Tariff 2 (nighttime and holidays). The price per kilometer will be 1.35 euros on working days and 1.66 euros on holidays.
Regarding supplements, the same proportional increase applies across the board. The surcharge for services originating or destined for Barcelona Airport or the Moll Adossat increases from 4.50 to 4.60 euros. All rides starting at the airport will have a minimum fare of 21 euros, including all supplements. The supplement for Estació de Sants rises slightly from 2.50 to 2.55 euros.
A notable exception is the 30% increase in the supplement for services originating at Fira Gran Via, which will rise from 2.50 to 3.30 euros. Furthermore, a fixed fare of 46 euros has been set for the route between the airport and the Moll Adossat, primarily aimed at cruise passengers.
As a new feature, the tariffs consolidate the setting of fixed prices for booking through authorized applications. In these cases, the flag drop will be 4.11 euros and the minimum journey price will be 8 euros. The majority union, Élite Taxi, considered the average 2.3% increase insufficient due to rising insurance costs, although they trust that future laws will compensate the collective with higher fares during nighttime and holiday hours.
