The classic events in Barcelona return strongly. Plaça Catalunya hosts its free Christmas Festival, while Port Vell brings back its Christmas fair, which this year is presented larger than ever. To bid farewell to the year, the city will celebrate New Year's Eve with fireworks on Maria Cristina avenue, setting the stage for the magical Three Kings Parade 2026.
Beyond the main hubs, the cultural offer expands. The Palau de la Música Catalana has announced a special program with 28 thematic concerts. Furthermore, the popular Llums de Sant Pau (Lights of Sant Pau) return, celebrating their fifth edition as one of the most prominent family plans, and the light show Simfonia d'estels illuminates the city center.
Metropolitan municipalities also present major novelties. Castelldefels will open the second largest ice rink in the country. Gavà premieres the Jardí dels Somnis (Garden of Dreams), a new Christmas attraction. In the Vallès Oriental, the promoters of Horrorland have created an immersive Christmas park in La Garriga, and Mollet stands out with a mapping show as the main attraction.
