The Citizen Service Office (OAC) of the Administrative District of the Generalitat in Barcelona has become an integrated office, allowing citizens to carry out any administrative procedure from a single location.

From now on, citizens can carry out any procedure with the Generalitat Administration at the Citizen Service Office (OAC) of the Administrative District, which has ceased to be sector-specific to adopt the integrated office model. This measure facilitates simpler and more efficient access to public services, offering support for procedures from all Generalitat departments.
The new integrated office, spanning 825 square meters and staffed by 23 advisors, will provide information, guidance, and in-person assistance. It will also facilitate the submission of applications, digitization of documents, and support in using electronic means. The opening hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.
With over five years of experience, this OAC, one of the first located outside central Barcelona, expands its range of services to cater to the southern part of the city and its metropolitan area. This initiative is part of the progressive adaptation of sectoral offices to the integrated model, aiming to reduce fragmentation of service points and offer a more comprehensive response to citizens' needs.
Since the beginning of the year, the OAC has handled 31,895 inquiries. The most requested procedures include the Registry of Stable Partnerships, free legal aid, homologation of foreign qualifications, MOVES program subsidies, and digital certificates like the IdCAT Certificate. Nearly 70% of visits are spontaneous.
This change is part of the Generalitat's new citizen service model, which combines in-person, mobile, telephone, and digital channels, including the Virtual Office and mobile OACs, to ensure accessible services throughout the territory.
