Plaça de les Glòries will host the 15th edition of Mercat de Mercats, Barcelona's celebration of gastronomy and local produce, from October 16-18, this year as part of the European Capital of Local Commerce 2026.

The fair will bring together 19 merchants from 11 municipal markets, local restaurateurs, and producers from the region, offering a program with over 60 activities for all ages, complemented by live music.
The Korean province of Jeonbuk will be this year's guest, showcasing its culture and gastronomy through showcookings, tastings, workshops, and musical performances.
The event expands with the Terrassa del Llac (Lake Terrace), a new gastronomic and musical space that will also feature ‘La Bodegueta’ and live performances throughout the day.
Top chefs such as Oriol Castro (Disfrutar restaurant), Diego Mondragon and Germán Espinosa (Mae), Iñaki Aldrey (Atempo), and Carlota Claver (Gormanda), along with Ada Parellada and chef Husam Dawoud, will star in showcookings at the Gastronomic Classroom.
