The Port Olímpic in Barcelona kicked off its holiday programming on Thursday with the premiere of an artistic 'mapping' projection at the Balcó Gastronòmic, attended by Mayor Jaume Collboni.

The main attraction is the light projection titled Barcelona, vela i paper, created by illustrator Andrea Segura López and displayed on the façade of the Sala Gregal. The 15-minute show runs daily with free access between 5:30 PM and 8:00 PM.
The 'mapping' will be available to the public for two and a half weeks, from December 20 until January 5. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mayor Jaume Collboni, First Deputy Mayor and BSM President Laia Bonet, and restaurateurs from the Balcó Gastronòmic.

This Christmas program aims to consolidate Port Olímpic as one of the city's most family-friendly and attractive holiday venues, following its recent refurbishment.

The venue combines the varied gastronomic offerings of its seven establishments (including Nuara, Casa Carmen, and Kresala) with a wide range of cultural and family activities. These include street performances, games, music, a Christmas market, and the Handmade Christmas Kids craft workshops.
The festivities will conclude on the afternoon of January 5, when the Three Wise Men (Reyes de Oriente) will arrive at Port Olímpic aboard a sailboat before participating in the district's parades.
