The traditional arrival of Their Majesties the Three Kings of the East in Barcelona on January 5 will cause significant traffic restrictions and public transport disruptions starting in the afternoon.

The Barcelona City Council has established that vehicles over 3,500 kilograms will be prohibited from circulating within the city between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM, excluding public service vehicles. Furthermore, private traffic and surface transport will be restricted on the main Parade route between 5:00 PM and 9:30 PM.
The main route will commence at 6:00 PM from the Parc de la Ciutadella, following the Kings' arrival at the Portal de la Pau at 4:30 PM aboard the Golondrinas boats. The floats will proceed along the Passeig de Colom, Avinguda del Paral·lel, Ronda de Sant Pau, and Carrer d'Urgell, concluding at the Avinguda Reina Maria Cristina around 9:10 PM.

Due to the disruptions affecting the vast majority of city bus lines, it is strongly recommended to use the Metro for travel during the afternoon and evening.

Mobility disruptions will not be limited to the city center but will extend to most city bus lines between 4:00 PM and 11:00 PM. Traffic restrictions will also affect exits 21 and 22 of the B-10 (Llobregat direction) and exit 21 (Besòs direction), in addition to local neighborhood parades in areas such as Sarrià, Sant Andreu, and Horta-Guinardó.
