Actress Paula Malia, known for her roles in Valeria and La casa nostra, has shared several personal anecdotes and her superstitions in a recent interview, including a particularly awkward moment with her mother.

During her appearance on a La 2 Cat program hosted by Silvia Abril, Paula Malia recounted one of the most embarrassing experiences of her life. It happened while watching an episode of the series Valeria with her mother, without recalling that it contained an explicit sex scene she herself starred in.

"It was one of the most uncomfortable experiences of my life. It's seeing yourself having sex, which is already uncomfortable and strange, and doing it with your mother next to you."

The actress described the awkward silence that filled the room, both unsure how to react to the situation. Despite the tension, they decided to continue watching the scene until the end, a moment that, according to her, neither has forgotten.
In addition to her personal experiences, Malia confessed to having several quirks and superstitions that she rigorously follows before leaving home or performing. Among them, she highlighted the need to always place her doormat parallel, believing that if she doesn't, she might suffer an accident. This peculiarity led her to adjust her neighbors' doormats when she lived in the Gràcia neighborhood.
She also recalled an incident during a theater performance with actor Miki Esparbé, where his painted beard ended up smudging her face during a kissing scene, leaving the audience perplexed. Finally, she shared an unpleasant anecdote from a vacation in Formentera, where a scare with a spider caused her ex-partner to accidentally throw a mobile phone, hitting a small girl's head.
