The Blood and Tissue Bank (BST) launched the Catalonia Blood Donor Marathon this Thursday, January 8, with over a hundred municipalities, including Badalona, mobilizing to restore reserves depleted during the Christmas holidays.

The initiative, which lasts for over a week, seeks to reverse the drop in donations that usually occurs during the festive period. The Marathon is held starting the second week of the year to boost blood reserves.
