This project, involving an investment of 7 million euros, has transformed 600 linear meters and an area of 15,000 m². The interventions have resulted in the widening of sidewalks to 4.35 meters on each side, significantly increasing pedestrian space.
The traffic configuration has also been modified, reducing the number of lanes from four to three. There are now two lanes for uphill traffic, one designated for public transport and taxis, and one lane for downhill traffic. Additionally, new pedestrian crossings have been created to enhance connectivity between different parts of the neighborhood, including areas near the Poeta Foix school.
These works are part of a broader urban improvement plan for the city. The City Council anticipates concluding other major projects in the coming months, such as improvements on Avinguda Meridiana and the Vila i Vilà collector.
