The World Cup football celebration in Barcelona brought together around 46,000 people in various parts of the city. The police operation by the Mossos d’Esquadra, comprising 300 officers, recorded only three arrests for robbery and theft, in addition to one fine for disobedience.
The Fòrum maritime platform was the central point of the celebration, with a giant screen attracting approximately 27,000 people. Catalunya square concentrated 13,000 fans, while the Arc de Triomf hosted 5,000 attendees, and Plaça d’Espanya, despite ongoing works, gathered about 1,000 people.
The Medical Emergency Service (SEM) attended a total of 29 people, mostly for minor injuries. Of these, 16 were transferred to hospitals, including the Hospital Clínic, Hospital del Mar, and CUAP Manso and Sant Martí.
