The Sant Joan night in Barcelona will feature various bonfires spread across different neighborhoods, according to initial confirmations from the districts. The celebration, marked by the arrival of the Flama del Canigó, will include activities such as concerts, popular dinners, and DJ sets, organized by neighborhood associations and local entities.
Before the bonfires are lit, many neighborhoods will host fire shows with 'correfocs' performed by local 'colles de diables' (devil groups), who parade through the streets as part of the tradition.
In the Eixample district, several activities are highlighted. The Associació de Ràdio i Televisió Sant Antoni is organizing a main bonfire at the intersection of Floridablanca and Entença streets (10:00 PM - 12:30 AM). There will also be celebrations and bonfires on Floridablanca street (between Rocafort and Calàbria, 4:00 PM - 3:00 AM), at the intersection of Rocafort and Provença streets (9:00 PM - 12:00 AM), on Consell de Cent street between Calàbria and Viladomat (8:00 PM - 3:00 AM), at the intersection of Sardenya and Diputació streets (7:00 PM - 3:00 AM), and in the Fort Pienc neighborhood, at the intersection of Lepant and Ausiàs Marc streets (6:00 PM - 3:00 AM).
In Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, the bonfire will be lit at La Porta de Sarrià, on Passeig de la Bonanova, 100, at 10:30 PM.
In Les Corts, the bonfire will take place on Europa street starting at 9:00 PM, accompanied by popular festivities.
In Sant Andreu, celebrations will include the lighting of bonfires in Plaça dels Jardins d'Elx (8:55 PM) and Plaça de Can Fabra (10:00 PM).
In Sant Martí, Parc de Sant Martí (La Gàbia) will host the bonfire lighting at 10:00 PM.
In Ciutat Vella, after the Flama del Canigó arrives at Plaça Sant Jaume, the flame will be distributed to light the bonfires, including one on Passeig de Lluís Companys, which is part of the Casc Antic's Festa Major program.
The list of confirmed bonfires may be expanded in the coming days, as more announcements are expected from the various districts.
