The city of Barcelona and its metropolitan area begin the week with a weather forecast marked by stability, rising temperatures, and the possible appearance of sea fog, especially along the coast.

After Easter, Tuesday, April 7, presents with a mild and stable environment. Temperatures will initially remain with few variations, but a significant increase is expected as the week progresses, resembling a climate more typical of late May or early June.
During the morning, the metropolitan area will enjoy a radiant and splendid sky, with a slightly cooler atmosphere in the early hours. No precipitation is expected, only some decorative thin cloud traces. Maximum temperatures will be similar or slightly lower, although they could reach 25 ºC in Alt Penedès, the interior of Baix Llobregat, and Vallès.
Tuesday night and Wednesday morning could bring advection fog along the coast, due to the contrast between the mild air and the coldness of the water. This sea fog will be more noticeable between Wednesday and Friday morning, and could temper temperatures on the coast.
A mass of warm air from the south will cause temperatures to rise between Wednesday and Friday, placing them between four and eight degrees above the climatic average for early April. In the mountain neighborhoods of Barcelona, maximums could reach 25 ºC or more between Thursday and Friday.
