Barcelona gears up for historic Tour de France Grand Départ in 2026

Barcelona's Sports Councilor, David Escudé, has detailed the plans for the Tour de France Gran Départ, which will take place in the city in July 2026.

This marks the first time Barcelona will host the official start of the world's premier cycling race. The event is scheduled for July 4th, 5th, and 6th, featuring a route through iconic landmarks such as the Port Olímpic, Sagrada Família, and Montjuïc.
