The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will be the venue for the 35th edition of the Monster Energy Grand Prix of Catalunya MotoGP, scheduled from May 15 to 17. The event's presentation was held at the Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau in Barcelona, where this year's main novelties were detailed.
The main innovation is the MotoGP Fan Fest Barcelona, an initiative designed to bring the competition's atmosphere closer to the public. This proposal, inspired by similar Formula 1 events, will take place on May 12 and 13 at Plaça de Catalunya. The aim is to transform the square into a meeting point for fans, offering activities, music, live programs, and experiences related to the Motorcycle World Championship.
“"We wanted to go a step further to be not just a company, but an entertainment agent. And it is precisely in Barcelona, my city, where we wanted to innovate with the first action of this type —the Fan Fest—, designed for the local public. Both we and the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya are taking many steps forward, towards this entertainment industry."
The MotoGP Fan Fest Barcelona will include one of the most anticipated moments: the Meet the riders, scheduled for the afternoon of Wednesday, May 13. This gathering will bring together prominent figures from the championship, such as the current MotoGP world champion and runner-up, as well as other renowned riders and participants from the Moto2 and Moto3 categories, offering a unique opportunity for fans to interact with their idols.
In addition to the city activities, the Grand Prix at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will maintain its extensive entertainment offerings. Established proposals such as the Pit Walk, Open Track, Hero Walk, and Riders Fan Parade will be repeated. As a new feature, the Pelouse Jove will be introduced, a space at turn 4 of the circuit designed to bring the world of motorsport closer to new generations with a combination of track action and complementary leisure at accessible prices.
