The Barcelona City Council has installed a giant screen on the Fòrum marine platform to broadcast the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina, offering a wider access option than the initial location.

The city of Barcelona is preparing to follow the World Cup final with the installation of a giant screen. Initially, it was planned to be located on Martí i Franquès street, in the Les Corts neighborhood, but it has finally been decided to use the Fòrum marine platform due to its larger capacity.
Access to the marine platform, located next to the Fòrum complex, will be through Josep Pla street and Litoral avenue. The City Council recommends using public transport, especially metro line L4 to the Maresme | Fòrum station. The entrance will be clearly signposted.
Certain restrictions have been established for access to the viewing area. It is prohibited to bring alcoholic beverages, as well as cans and glass bottles.
The area will open its doors at 7:00 PM with entertainment activities, including games and music. The pre-match coverage will begin at 8:30 PM, and the final broadcast at 9:00 PM. The transmission will be in Catalan via 2Cat.
To facilitate attendee mobility, Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) will extend the metro service hours until 1:00 AM, an extended schedule compared to the usual Sunday service.
Barcelona has hosted similar broadcasts on previous occasions. Last summer, the Women's Champions League final was followed from Glòries park, and during the summer of 2024, the Euro 2024 final was viewable in Plaça de Catalunya.
