Bon Preu opens new Esclat supermarket in Badalona's Gorg district

The company invested 13.6 million euros in its third store in the city, creating 58 new jobs.

The Bon Preu group inaugurated a new Esclat supermarket this Wednesday in the Gorg neighborhood of Badalona, creating 58 jobs at its new location on Antoni Bori street.

This new facility, located across from the Badalona Olympic Pavilion, represents a 13.6 million euro investment. The store covers 1,826 square meters and focuses on fresh local products, including specialized sections for fish, meat, and bakery items.

Designed with sustainability in mind, the building aims for a 20% reduction in energy consumption. The site includes two floors of parking with over 100 spaces and electric vehicle charging points, while also partnering with El Rincón de la Familia to donate surplus food.
