Catalunya Ràdio concludes the radio season with 672,000 listeners, reducing the difference with RAC1, the leading station, which maintains 1,018,000 listeners. SER ranks third with 397,000 and COPE fourth with 250,000.
The Catalan public broadcaster has increased its audience in the provinces of Barcelona, Girona, and Lleida, registering a slight decrease only in Tarragona. These figures correspond to the second wave of 2026 from the General Media Study (EGM).
In a context of a generalized decline in radio listenership compared to the beginning of the year, Catalunya Ràdio stands out as the station among the top four that loses the fewest listeners.
The program "El matí de Catalunya Ràdio", hosted by Ricard Ustrell, concludes the season with an average of 458,000 daily listeners, its best figure since the 2018-2019 season, although it remains behind "El món a RAC1".
The news program "Catalunya Migdia", directed by Òscar Fernàndez, achieves one of its best audiences with 157,000 listeners, consolidating itself as the most-listened-to news program in the country. "La tarda de Catalunya Ràdio", with Francesc Garriga, registers 133,000 listeners.
On weekends, "El suplement", with Roger Escapa, achieves an average of 428,000 daily listeners, marking its best season ever and showing increases on both Saturday and Sunday.
In the sports sector, the program "Tot costa", with Jordi Costa and Sònia Gelmà, finishes the season with 85,000 daily listeners.
Other channels within the group also show positive results: 3CatInfo nears 90,000 listeners, Catalunya Música exceeds 40,000, and iCat reaches 30,000.
Additionally, Catalunya Ràdio maintains its leadership in the podcast segment, with 113,000 daily listeners.
