One person arrested in Poble-sec for vandalism on eight vehicles

The Guàrdia Urbana arrested the suspect early Saturday morning while a neighbor was reprimanding him for the vandalic acts.

The Barcelona Guàrdia Urbana arrested an individual early Saturday morning in the Poble-sec neighborhood accused of causing damage to eight vehicles parked on the public road.

The police force arrested the suspect after he caused damage to four cars and four motorcycles. The events took place in the Poble-sec neighborhood, in the Sants-Montjuïc district, during the early hours of Saturday.
According to the police, the arrested person damaged the rearview mirrors of the four automobiles. Furthermore, he caused various degrees of damage to the four motorcycles after throwing them to the ground.

The arrest occurred while a neighbor was reprimanding him for the actions when officers arrived to apprehend the alleged perpetrator of the vandalism.

The intervening patrol was responsible for “the necessary steps to locate the owners of the affected vehicles”. The police informed the victims that they now have the option to file a complaint.
